The combination of practicality and excellent hospitality was of significance to the design of the space.
The fireplace, central to the seating/entertainment area was moved and completely redesigned to allow for a dinning hospitality area for the lodge. The reconfiguration of the log burner, the fire place and chimney, now visible from the front of the lodge were utilised to form an external warm seat providing a smoking area for those wishing to take drinks outside during the winter.
Furniture, lighting and accessories were sourced and a new boot room and reception area designed using bespoke joinery (exterior signage also designed) offered storage and seating for the changing area.
