The waiting area was screened from the office with etched glass baring the school crest, and the space was designed to offer seating as well as a wall of storage through which the headmistresses office could be accessed. The design of the space was conceived to work with the provenance of the school and history of the building.

All works took place on site doing the summer vacation period to ensure minimum disruption to the school.  The bespoke joinery was made off site and installed as part of the complete renovation of the space. Fabrics came from Designers Guild and Lewis and Wood, the chairs were from Pimpernel and Partners and other items of furniture came from Oka.
