My brief for this lovely family home tucked away in the Kent countryside, was to incorporate vibrant rich colour and texture with an opulent pallet of carefully sourced items. Antiques sourced both in the Uk and the Far East, have been combined with bespoke furniture made especially for the project. We have yet to photograph new work here, so hope to include some beautiful shots soon.

The property features a formal salon split to include dinning and reception area set around a fireplace. The client’s brief was for opulent luxurious fabrics and colour, and for antique pieces wherever possible, so the 19C mahogany extending dinning table with original leaves was found in Devon. The bespoke items of upholstery are covered in fabric from De Le Cuona where I also found the perfect fabric for the curtains, a richly embroidered silk and wool mix weave. I took inspiration from an antique Chinese cupboard owned by the client for my own rug design to be included in the room. Woven with wool and silk, it pulls together colours used in the room and is once again part of a collaboration with the Rug Company. The lighting in the room is from Beslink and Jones and Oka, whilst fabrics for the bespoke De Hasse cushions are from GP&J Baker.
