
This iconic barn conversion is set within acres of stunning countryside near Stow-on-the-Wold, a stones throw from Daylesford in the heart of the Cotswolds. The brief for the interior design was to compliment the architectural design and finishes of the house by configuring practical, yet contemporary furnishings for the weekend home of a busy family of six.

The brief for the interior design was to compliment the architectural design and finishes of the house by configuring practical, yet contemporary furnishings for the weekend home of a busy family of six.

Careful consideration was given to planning the main living area, very often filled to capacity not only with the owners of the property and their four children, but also weekend guests. Furniture configuration and practical fabrics and finishes were important as was the combination of style and comfort aligning a luxurious mix of colours and textures throughout the barn.

Furniture from B&B Italia and Viaduct was combined with antique finds, and pieces sourced from Baileys Home. The selection of furnishings, colours and finishes, fused the clients’ love of uber chic luxurious contemporary design, with pared down country style. A variety of fabrics from stone washed linens to softest cashmeres from De Le Cuona, Designers Guild and Le Lievre, were combined with bespoke rugs from the Rug Company for use though out the property.
