The brief was to create a practical co ordinated space for busy family life whilst retaining the clients‘ taste for simple, contemporary furniture.  The design for the interior of the house, a substantial, listed property in Chelsea, was required to incorporate style with practicality and comfort in a space very much a working city home for a family of six.  Six bedrooms and three reception rooms arranged over five floors were conceived in a total re decoration project.

Art from the clients’ existing collection was worked into the design of each room adding in strong primary colours to compliment the client’s wish for clean contemporary spaces with flashes of colour.

Furniture for the principal rooms and master bedroom came from B & B Italia, fabrics were from Designers Guild and De Le Cuona, and wallpaper from Cole and Son.
