The fireplace, central to the seating/entertainment area, was moved from the other side of the room and completely redesigned. This allowed for a dining area as part of the hospitality for the lodge. The reconfiguration of the log burner, the fire place and chimney, visible from the front of the lodge were utilised to form an external warm seat providing a smoking area for those wishing to take drinks outside during the winter.

Furniture, lighting and accessories were carefully selected to add to the country charm of the lodge. The new boot room and reception area was designed using bespoke joinery offering storage and seating for the changing area.  Finishes were required to accommodate the practical aspects of muddy boots, wet weather gear and dogs.
